Well, actually, the recipe is not from Morocco. I created it myself. But by using ingredients common to the Moroccan kitchen. How else would I have called them? Just patties is a bit wide.
Ingredients
- 150 g couscous
- 1 can chickpeas
- 2 shallots
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp paprika
- sunflower oil
Method
Prepare couscous according to directions on the package. Drainthe chickpeas well.
Finely chop the shallots and put them in a bowl. Press the garlic above the bowl. Add couscous, chickpeas en paprika and mix well squeezing (most of) the chickpeas.
Divide into 6 to 8 portions. Turn every portion into a patty.
Heat oil in a frying pan and bake the patties in batches of 4 until golden brown on both sides.
